Guardian Homes

What is a guardian Home

Guardian Homes allow special dogs that I want to use in my breeding program the opportunity for a fabulous pet life. I'm going to have puppies in future litters that I'll want to use to better our lines. We do not re-home our retired dogs, they're our pets, so we are limited in the number of dogs that we can care for and spoil. So if I find special families who want to work with me, they can get a puppy to love and I can continue to produce beautiful healthy pets and show dogs. It is such a Win/Win. This puppy will always be the pick of the litter. I will pay for all health testing and/or showing. He/she will be bred (no more than 3 times for females) then retired and spayed and is your forever family member.

What are the requirements to be a guardian home?

Must be fairly local to me. No more than 1 hour away. Must be able to take excellent care of the dog and provide an inside home with a fenced exercise area or commit to other daily exercise. There must be no other intact dogs in the home. Must be prepared to cooperate on showing and breeding arrangements.

How does it work?

I give you my pick of the litter puppy that I would like to add to my breeding program. You raise them as your family member You provide quality food, health care and grooming, as you would any pet.. I pay for all health testing and showing, and I groom them while they are being shown. You are welcome to come to shows with me and learn and/or show the puppy yourself if you like. . Once the puppy has passed health clearances and reached the age of 2 years old, I will choose a stud and breed her no more than 3 times. She will come to my home to have her puppies and I will raise them, then return her to you after they are weaned. You may participate in the raising of the puppies and come to visit often. In the case of a male, I will contact you when I need to use him for breeding. I After a short period of time he/she will be spayed/neutered and is yours forever.

Guardian homes receive a $1000 discount on original puppy price.

I do offer a bonus of $2000 after two successful breedings.
